Baichy Glass crushers are machines designed with the aim of pulverizing glass to aid in the recycling process. Waste glass comes from various sources, in the form of glass sheets, containers, jars and bottles. They can be recycled with the help of a glass crusher to avoid generating new glass, which in turn saves energy.
Hammer crushers is suitable for crushing various materials of brittleness such as coal, gangue, coke, slay, shale, lime stone, glass etc. Whose compressive resistance does not exceed 100Mpa and the surface moisture content should not be greater than 8%. Hammer crusher crushes materials by high-speed rotation of the hammer and impacting surface of materials, it has characteristics of a simple structure, large crushing ratio and high-efficiency production, etc.
Glass crushers come in a range of sizes and can be used independently by bar, hotel and restaurant owners alike, or as a part of an integrated glass recycling system, comprising of crushers and material separation machines. Glass crushers have a mechanical safety system in place which avoids crushing of objects that are not glass. Brown or transparent crushed glass is used to make more glass, while other forms of crushed glass are used to form asphalt paving and blocks, or mixed into secondary concrete products.
The main wroking part of hammer crusher is rotor with hammer. The rotors consist of main shaft, disk, pin shaft and hammers. The motor drives rotor to rotate quickly in the crushing cavity. Raw glass materials enter the crusher through the feed opening and are stricken, impacted, cut and ground by high-speed hammer. There is a screening palte under the rotor, so that materials with size smaller than the screen mesh will be screened out and others are left to be further hammered and ground until they reach the standard size. The size of the final product can be adjusted by changing the screening plate. The gap between the rotors and the screening plate can also be adjusted according to different requirements.
There is approximately 12 million tons of glass generated as municipal waste every year, out of which roughly 3 million tons is recycled, leaving close to 9 million tons in landfills. The use of a glass crusher machine is a crucial part of the process for recycling this waste.
1. After being separated from other waste materials, various forms of glass are placed on a conveyor belt, which transports them to a platform where the glass is sorted manually by color.
2. Sorted shards are passed through a glass crusher with the help of a chute, where they are pulverized by an electric motor and various screens that break them into several dimensions of shards known as cullet.
3. Post pulverization, the shattered glass is safer to handle for further manageable recycling and exits the pulverizer through a discharge chute. To avail superior value crushed glass cullet installation, separate crushers may be used for different colored glass.
4. Further cleaning comprises of separating other material from the crushed glass, such as metals, plastic, paper and corks, by using a machine that makes the separation easy.
5. A Trommel screen plays an essential part in the pulverization process as it allows different-sized cullet to be discharged.
Profitability depends on whether or not there is a market for the purchasing of scrap glass. As many manufacturers are moving away from glass bottle production, that greatly reduces the profitability of scrap glass recycling.
Laminated glass recycling system and equipment consists of a continuous processing line which crashes, mill, shreds, tears laminated glass and separates PVB or EVA scraps out of glass scraps until PVB or EVA is dried and ready for recycle.
Two types crushing equipment are abrasion crushing and impact crushing. Abrasion crushing (or, more correctly, attrition), uses friction and compression to fracture material and includes equipment such as jaw crushers and cone crushers. Impact crushing is to use hammerhead to break large piece to powder size.
